Job description

Must be CAD proficient. Some experience in the home organization industry would be a plus. Specific Pre-Production responsibilities include:
1. Review and modify as needed, KCD designer drawings to ensure construction standards are being respected.
2. Supplement KCD drawings with CAD details to add further clarity to constructability, assembly and installation requirements.
3. Develop list of buy-out component hardware and parts including doors, drawers, hardware, stone, glass, mirror and other specialty items.
4. Formally requisition specialty items from list of approved vendors and ensure that the company consistently obtains the best pricing for all buyouts.
5. Prepare a โ€œProduction Folioโ€ in line with the Project Check List that includes all relevant paperwork and information to ensure that production has everything it needs to produce the work on time.
6. Accomplish all tasks in an organized and expeditious manner focused toward the time sensitive nature of the work.
7. Position requires knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office, KCD, AutoCAD or some similar CAD program, and ClosetWare built on the SalesForce Platform. Becoming proficient in Closet Component fabrication, cabinetry and woodwork production methodologies is mandatory.
