Location: Robinson Intermediate-605 S Old Robinson Road in Robinson TX 76706
Program Dates: 9/1, 9/3, 9/8, 9/10, 9/15, 9/17, 9/22, 9/24, 9/29, 10/1, 10/6, 10/8, 10/20, 10/22, 10/27, 10/29
Days: Tuesday and Thursdays only
Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Fashion and Photography Instructor to lead an engaging, hands-on program that introduces participants to the exciting worlds of fashion, personal style, and photography.

The instructor will guide participants through creative activities designed to explore fashion concepts, styling, visual storytelling, photography techniques, and artistic expression. This is a great opportunity for a photographer, fashion enthusiast, stylist, designer, visual artist, educator, or creative professional who enjoys sharing their skills with others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging, hands-on lessons focused on fashion, styling, photography, and creative expression.
  • Introduce participants to basic fashion concepts, including personal style, color, design, trends, and outfit coordination.
  • Teach introductory photography concepts such as composition, lighting, angles, posing, and visual storytelling.
  • Guide participants through creative fashion and photography projects and activities.
  • Demonstrate how photography can be used to showcase fashion, accessories, personal style, and creative concepts.
  • Encourage participants to develop their own individual style and artistic perspective.
  • Provide clear, step-by-step demonstrations and individual assistance as needed.
  • Prepare and organize instructional materials, activities, and supplies before each class.
  • Adapt instruction for participants with different experience and skill levels.
  • Maintain a positive, organized, inclusive, and creative learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in photography, fashion, styling, design, visual arts, or a related creative field.
  • Knowledge of basic photography techniques and an understanding of fashion and styling concepts.
  • Previous teaching, mentoring, coaching, workshop, or group instruction experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable demonstrating creative techniques and guiding participants through hands-on projects.
  • Ability to explain concepts in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Creative, patient, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with others.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to encourage creativity, confidence, and individual expression among participants.
