Job description

Photo Studio Coordinator
Location: Hillsborough, NC
Job Purpose
This individual will manage all product photography samples coming in and out of the Photo Studio by coordinating with our Merchandising Team and Studio Team. Other duties include checking photography samples into our imaging database and prepping samples for photography or photo shoots.
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Manage product sample traffic moving through studio, including check-in, returns, and follow-through on outstanding items. Vendor samples and samples from our warehouse need to be kept separate for their return status.
  • Prepare samples for photography, including but not limited to steaming apparel, stuffing and prepping footwear and bags. Also, organizing products for daily photography, special shoots and photo shoots.
  • Work within our image database (Creative Force) to ensure sample status and records are correct and up to date to be able to prioritize workflow for the studio based on photographer's availability.
  • Maintain and track sample storage and location. Items that need above and beyond standard photography will need to be photographed/video by multiple teams. So, it will be important to be able to know who has a specific item at different points.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Merchandising and Marketing Teams on PDP sample status, deadlines, sample orders for specialty shoots and photo shoots.
  • Organize workload based on product priority and input from photographer and videographer workflow.
  • Help ensure all department deadlines are met by being able to help in other areas as needed.
  • Support various product launch requirements as needed (e.g. product copy, process management, etc.)

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Product or Inventory Management experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Database experience preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Specific vision abilities include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data, transcribing information, distinguishing colors, using a laptop and reading.
