Description
Hampton University Athletics is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the Video Coordinator for the Women's Basketball program. This position is responsible for overseeing all video operations related to the Women's Basketball program, including practice and game film, opponent scouting, video editing, and technological support for coaches and student-athletes.
The Video Coordinator will work closely with the Head Women's Basketball Coach and staff to support the overall success and daily operations of the program.
Examples of Duties
• Coordinate all video operations for the Women's Basketball program.
• Film and manage all practices, games, workouts, and other team-related activities as needed.
• Edit and prepare scouting film, highlight packages, recruiting materials, and player development edits.
• Upload and maintain video exchange platforms and scouting software.
• Assist coaching staff with film breakdown, statistical analysis, and opponent preparation.
• Organize and archive all game and practice footage.
• Operate and troubleshoot video equipment, software, and related technology.
• Assist with creative content and graphics when needed for recruiting and program promotion.
• Travel with the team as required.
• Maintain compliance with all Hampton University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Women's Basketball Coach or Athletics Administration
Typical Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Previous experience in video coordination, basketball operations, athletics, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of basketball video software, editing platforms, and scouting systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced athletic environment.
