Photo Studio Manager

The YETI Content team is seeking an experienced Photo Studio Manager witha strong foundationin studio photography production to leadend to endin studioproduct photography workflows. This role requires a highly organized, proactive operator who thrives in afast pacedenvironment and is comfortable navigating ambiguity,solving problems without all the details, managing shifting priorities, and driving momentum even when timelines or budgets evolve.

You'llbring deepexpertisein studio photo production within a brand, production company, or agency environment, andyou'llbe a collaborative partner to creative, product, andcross functionalteams. While studio photography will be your primary focus, this role will occasionally lead cross-functionalstudio basedvideo production as our needs grow.

We'realso looking for someone with an open mind toward innovation,a partner eager to explore how AI tools can enhance workflows, expand capacity, and drive greater operational efficiency across the studio.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the organization and management of all studio photography, including product roadmap alignment, shot list development, scheduling for shoots and retouching, and final asset delivery.

  • Negotiate and collaborate todetermineoutput expectations based on a holistic understanding of business needs and studio capabilities.

  • Workcross functionallyto ensure alignment on shot lists, priorities, and final image output.

  • Maintain a comprehensive view of incoming requests to maximize efficiency across timelines and shoot days.

  • Communicate effectively across marketing, merchandising, product, creative, and wholesale teams to keep workflows aligned and moving smoothly.

  • Occasionally produce video shoots within the studio environment - including managing budgets,selectingand hiring crews, sourcing props, and overseeing scripts or shot lists.

  • Build,maintain, and execute production schedules in partnership with project management teams and in collaboration with the internal photographer andretoucher.

  • Manage all aspects ofinhousestudio spaces, including organization,equipmentcare, and readiness.

  • Partner with the production coordinator to manage sample inventory and ensure product availability for shoots.

  • Manage scheduling, onboarding, and billing for external vendors and freelancers.

  • Identifyprocess gaps and bring forward innovative solutions,including opportunities toleverageAI to improve efficiency, scale output, or reduce manual workload.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Bachelor'sdegreerequired strongly preferred.

  • Greater than 8 years of experience producingin studioproduct photography at a brand, agency, or production company.

  • Exceptionally organized anddetail oriented-you love awell built,well maintainedspreadsheet and operational system.

  • Aself starterand multitasker with proven success managing multiple workstreams and tight timelines.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across many stakeholder groups.

  • Experience working in or passion for outdoor brands and/or outdoor lifestyle photography is a plus.

  • Positive, calm, andsolutions oriented-especially inhigh pressuresituations.

  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring how AI can enhance production workflows, improve accuracy, and increase team bandwidth.
