Job Description:
The Marketing Department partners with other areas of the firm to effectively communicate and deliver Dimensional's message through various internal and external platforms. Team members are passionate about the firm's philosophy and work collaboratively to spread the word about Dimensional's offering. Everyone on the team is empowered to identify and champion ideas that deliver on the department's commitments to stakeholders.
A senior production artist in the Marketing department takes a lead role in the production of corporate collateral including white papers, brochures, publications, events materials, presentations, email templates, and websites for print and digital distribution. He/she must have the ability to work within a corporate brand and a fast-paced environment and have an understanding of the broader communication needs of internal client base. The senior production artist plays a key role in the production process, which includes managing projects, dealing directly with internal clients and partnering with other members of the creative team.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with other members in the Marketing team in the production of a design from start to finish.
  • Work closely with the Design Director to understand and master design and brand standards across a variety of mediums.
  • Work collaboratively with editorial team so that copy and design overall work together to communicate subject matter in a clear and understandable way.
  • Work collaboratively with the project management and operations team in delivering production ready materials.
  • Collaborate with editorial and presentation teams to create accurate and compelling charts, graphs, and tables, pulling Excel data into Illustrator and InDesign charts.
  • Master and maintain brand standards and consistency of message and design across materials and media, globally.
  • Create, master, and maintain suite of branded templates for a variety of corporate collateral deliverables.
  • Create press-ready mechanicals. Maintain quality control in regards to file preparation.
  • Create and retouch digital images as needed.
  • Regularly track work against defined schedule.
  • Ensure internal workflow processes are followed; Keep Project Managers informed throughout design development cycle.
  • Maintain assets and electronic files on a shared server.
  • Maintain project organization including keeping accurate project notes and records in internal database.

Qualifications:
  • Expert in print production software:
    • Adobe Creative Suite
    • Microsoft Office
  • Must have formal training/experience in typography, production and prepress skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with printers about complex print jobs and attend press checks if needed
  • Familiarity with web design principles and user interface best practices
  • Having knowledge of some basic coding skills is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and become proficient in digital content management systems (such as SiteCore, ClickDimensions and Cvent)
  • Excellent oral, presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work on both a Mac and a PC for a variety of media
  • Ability to synthesize information to develop creative, innovative design solutions for diverse client base across multiple lines of business
  • Ability to translate and simplify complex data through information graphics, charts and graphs
  • Ability to prioritize independently based on workflow dependencies, competing business initiatives, and time constraints
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative solving creative problems, enhancing the brand, and improving operational efficiencies.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from Art Director, Design Director and Creative Director
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative
  • Background in financial services industry a plus
  • B.F.A. in graphic design or equivalent
  • Minimum ten years of professional design experience in a fast-paced agency or in-house, creative environment
