Health Programs Administrative Assistant

Location: Lehi

Status: Part-time

Hours: 20 hours per week, flexible schedule. Shifts must be worked during school business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Pay / Hourly: $15

SUMMARY

The Health Programs Administrative Assistant assists the Radiography Technology Program Coordinator with administrative duties and responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to program inquiries from potential students via email and telephone
  • Assist with coordinator Program Advisory Meetings by ensuring that all committee members are invited, that catering is arranged, that minutes are recorded and proper paperwork and forms are completed.
  • Assist in collecting student data related to program Completion, Placement, and Licensure (CPL).
  • Process program applications, prepare and send notifications to applicants, and schedule applicant interviews.
  • Represent the program at career fairs and other marketing events.

COMPETENCIES

  • Basic accounting skills, excellent keyboarding skills, ability to spell and use proper grammar; basic writing skills; very computer literate and able to perform high level tasks in Word, Excel and other software applications.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from potential students, clinical sites, potential employers, and other members of the community.
  • Ability to write professionally in correspondence and documents.
  • Ability to effectively provide information to top management, public groups, and or boards of directors.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited support exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Graduation from high school, plus, two (2) years of additional education, or an associate degree; AND, one (1) year of experience performing related duties; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
