Why this job – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
A growing manufacturing company based in Thornton seeks a driven, trustworthy Senior Accountant to contribute to their close-knit team. In this role, you will work closely with the Controller and develop other cross-functional relationships to produce accurate reporting of the financial statements, maintenance of the general ledger, financial analysis support, and more. This is an excellent opportunity to continue to build your accounting skillset, work with a caring, respectful group, and be able to support and mentor other team members.
What You'll Actually Do:

• Ensure accuracy of general ledger entries and reconcile accounts regularly
• Efficiently complete month-end close within a 5-day deadline
• Prepare journal entries and analyze financial results
• Inventory analysis and cost rollup
• Calculate complex accruals and provide accurate month-end estimates
• Assist auditors and tax preparers with documentation and further support
• Collaborate on budget development and analyze variances

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of full-cycle accounting
• Knowledge of inventory & how it flows on a balance sheet is needed
• Manufacturing and/or retail experience is a plus
• ERP system knowledge and overall tech savviness needed – and experience being part of a conversion/implementation would be helpful
• Understanding and interest in Data Analytics

Where and How Much:

• Target Compensation up to $105k DOE + Bonus Reward program (10% target)
• Thornton office – 20% Remote work allowed after training, flexible on what that looks like based on individual preference
• 40-45 hours/week
