Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Supervisor Accounting works cooperatively with the Chief Financial Officer, accounting team, and medical practice teams to ensure that accurate and reliable financial data is available in a timely manner. The supervisor is responsible for several areas of the business, including financial reporting and analysis, account reconciliations, accounting policy compliance, and accounts payable. Anticipating and understanding the organization's financial needs, the Supervisor Accounting is very detail-oriented and excels at task-related work.
  • Oversee fixed asset management including software and records management.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports for medical practices as well as assist with quarterly financial analysis for management company.
  • Oversee daily and weekly tasks for assigned members of the accounting team.
  • Mentor and train lower level accounting staff.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in and knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP
  • CRM and/or ERP system experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel); Sage CRM and Sage 300 ERP experience is a plus
