Controller | $120k - $140k + Bonus
We're in search of a Controller to join a low-middle-market manufacturing company. Reporting to the CFO, this role will oversee the accounting and finance function for this growing, PE-backed business, offering significant visibility within the organization and the chance to enhance accounting processes in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
- analytical support to the leadership team, managing KPIs and conducting cost analysis.
- the monthly financial close process, preparing statements and reports.
- monthly forecasting with the local management team.
- and present annual budgets and strategic plans.
- standard cost and manufacturing account system, along with all plant accounting functions.
- capital spending and cost-saving projects.
- implement, and monitor internal controls, overseeing external and internal audits.
- assess plant and finance processes for GAAP compliance and improvement opportunities.
- two to three direct reports.
Requirements:
- degree in accounting or related
- understanding of US GAAP
- years of experience in manufacturing accounting
- cost accounting and inventory control expertise
- leadership and interpersonal skills.
