Security Road Supervisors usually perform the following tasks under the direct supervision of their Operation's Manager. They oversee and manage site activity within a designated geographical area. Conduct routine inspections and audits of security personnel to ensure proper implementation of security procedures & protocol.
Responsibilities:
Personnel Supervision:
Conduct routine patrol of assigned area to inspect and coach security officers at various locations
Ensures Officers perform all aspects of their assignments as per the site post orders and standard operating procedures.
Ensures Officers properly fill out all necessary paperwork including but not limited to their time sheet, daily activity reports, and incident reports
Assist in creating and managing the work schedule for the security staff
Ensure all work shifts are covered and required contract hours are met
Counsel the security staff as needed and directed by your manager
Conduct inspections and report findings to management
Train new officers when they are assigned to the site
Provide management with personnel recommendations as needed
Ensures time sheets and other logs are properly filled out by officers
Investigates any reported payroll or time discrepancies as needed / required
Ensures all time worked for personnel on site is present on time sheets and all contractual obligations are met
Security Functions:
Must be able to properly and efficiently perform all essential job duties of the site security officers under your supervision.
Must be able to utilize all essential security equipment approved for use on site
- Stand post/ provide site coverage when needed
Interact with client contacts in a professional manner
Report incidents to Marksman management
Document and report any on site injuries to local branch
Submit a weekly report on site activity to the local branch as requested
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- State licensing, if applicable
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving history
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Strong computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Desire to develop, motivate and train others under a decentralized model
- Previous CCTV, intermediate fire panel and other emergency system experience required
- Two years previous Security, Law Enforcement, and or Military experience required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
