Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Security Shift Supervisor to join our team in West Chester, PA. This role is ideal for a proven security professional with leadership experience who is dependable, professional, and customer-service driven.
As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site security operations, leading Security Officers, and ensuring all post orders, policies, and safety standards are followed. You will serve as a key point of contact between officers, clients, and branch leadership while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Available Shift
  • Wednesday - Sunday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support Security Officers during assigned shifts
  • Ensure compliance with DSI policies, client requirements, and post instructions
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible leadership, patrols, and oversight
  • Respond to and manage incidents, emergencies, and escalated situations
  • Observe, report, and address safety hazards, suspicious activity, and security concerns
  • Assist with training, coaching, and performance accountability of assigned personnel
  • Complete incident reports, shift logs, and required documentation accurately and timely
  • Serve as a professional representative of DSI with clients, visitors, and the public
  • Participate in required training and ensure team compliance with DSI safety policies and manuals
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous security experience required
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Valid state driver's license (required)
  • Reliable transportation and consistent means of communication (required)
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency required (report writing, scheduling, and electronic systems)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions required
  • Must successfully pass all required criminal background checks, motor vehicle screening, and drug screening

One of the following is required:
  • Prior military, law enforcement, or corrections experience OR
  • A minimum of two (2) years of verifiable security supervisory experience
