Job Description

The Overnight Security Greeter serves as a visible and approachable presence to ensure guest safety, provide a warm welcome, and maintain secure access to the resort. This position bridges customer service and security by monitoring access points, managing guest interactions, and supporting overall resort safety operations.

Job Requirements

  • Warmly greet all guests, owners, and visitors entering the resort.
  • Assist front desk staff by verifying room keys, wristbands, or credentials as needed during peak periods or special events.
  • Observe for suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or policy violations and report immediately to resort security leadership.
  • Assist with implementing resort security protocols, such as shelter-in-place, lockdowns, or evacuations.
  • Provide the initial response to all incidents of an emergency nature (Police, Fire, or Medical), and act accordingly within the scope of duties as an Overnight Security Greeter.
  • Maintain a uniformed security presence at specified company interests.
  • Manage entry and exit control points at designated properties.
  • Monitor a proprietary station or front desk (fire alarm panel) as required by law and monitor Security surveillance system.
  • Conduct safety inspections as directed by policy and established procedure.
  • Maintain individual Overnight Security Greeter activity records, checklists, and logs.
  • Write detailed and accurate incident reports and emails. (Basic computer skills required)
  • Directs visitors or guests to their proper desired destination within the resort location.
  • Respond to any security related complaints and take appropriate actions.
  • Assist public safety officers in the performance of their duties as requested and/or required.
  • Perform key control duties.
  • Inspects all stickers and invitations to ensure proper admittance to a resort. All unauthorized person shall be refused admittance to the resort. Also, responsible to protect guests, visitors, and team members of the resort.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Prior resort or hotel experience in a public-facing role.
  • Familiarity with access control, radio communication, and CCTV systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Applicants must also possess a valid State Driverโ€™s license.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer and communication skills.

  • Climbing several flights of stairs without stopping
