Job description

Description:

SUMMARY: Maintain an atmosphere of confidentiality and professionalism when greeting patients and direct them to appropriate department. Ensure smooth and expedient flow of patients within the health center.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties are subject to accommodation in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)


· Greet and interact with patients, visitors and guests in a professional manner

· Communicate effectively with clinical team including providers, nursing, and other administrative staff

· Responsible in receiving and signing for incoming delivery packages

· Collaborates with security staff to notify of arising emergencies on premises

· Resourceful in problem solving and conflict resolution


EXPERIENCE:

· Strong customer service focus

· Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (Required)

· Effective verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient skills in Data Entry, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel

· Proficient in working with Electronic Medical Management systems (EPIC)

· Exhibit teamwork orientation and able to display good judgment

· Organized and able to manage competing priorities

· Resourcefulness in problem solving and conflict resolution

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This person must have the ability to travel as required to work with staff.
