Job Title: Site Security Manager (SSM)
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Some Saturdays may be required)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Site Security Manager to support a secure federal construction project in Virginia Beach, VA. The selected candidate will oversee daily site security operations, supervise security personnel, manage access control procedures, and ensure compliance with established project security requirements.
Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance required.
Main Duties:
  • Manage daily site security operations.
  • Supervise CSTs and Cleared American Guards.
  • Enforce access control procedures.
  • Monitor construction activities.
  • Inspect materials, tools, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Escort or oversee uncleared personnel as needed.
  • Maintain daily logs, visitor records, inspection reports, and incident reports.
  • Report security issues, violations, or suspicious activity.
  • Coordinate with Government representatives and construction personnel.

Requirements:
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • 8 years of security experience.
  • 2 years of ICD 705 construction security experience.
  • Site Security Manager certification.
  • Experience leading security personnel.
  • Ability to read construction plans and schedules.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
