Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the security industry? Do you have what it takes to lead a team of armed security officers in the downtown Los Angeles area? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Protect-US Private Security is looking for an Armed Security Supervisor to join our team. 
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our security contract at a high-profile client site. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the client's property, personnel and visitors, as well as managing the performance and training of your security staff. You will also be the primary point of contact for the client and handle any issues or emergencies that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership skills to provide direction to the Field Officers and assist with areas of responsibility as needed back-up response to Patrol as needed
  • Provide Field Support for all patrols of the sites and inspections of assigned personnel
  • Effectively manage, motivate, coach and formally evaluate the performance of all assigned staff and officers.
  • Manage Security Operations while overseeing a multiple venue location, their Security Supervisors and Security Teams.
  • Direct teams to ensure a high end patron experience, as well as patron safety and conduct.
  • Coordinate Security Department meetings. Attend and participate in other required Ops meetings.
  • Review and approve departmental schedules/payroll and make necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee and maintain various technical equipment, hardware and software, to ensure it is functioning properly. Back up all databases on a regular schedule. 
  • The position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include weekends and holidays.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A valid California BSIS guard card and exposed firearm permit
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must possess a valid security license as required in the state for which you are applying.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive security experience.
  • Have the ability to be trained and certified in an Armed capacity.
  • Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
