Role Description The FT Security Officer Supervisor is a full-time, on-site position located in Orlando, FL. This role is responsible for supervising security officers during assigned shifts, ensuring that all posts are properly staffed and that officers follow company policies, procedures, and post orders. The supervisor will conduct regular patrols and inspections, respond to incidents and alarms, and coordinate with clients and management to address security concerns. Daily tasks include documenting activities and incidents, preparing shift reports, coaching and mentoring officers, and assisting with scheduling and training. The supervisor will also help enforce safety protocols, support emergency response efforts, and maintain professional communication with clients, visitors, and law enforcement when needed.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, with prior supervisory or team lead responsibilities.
  • Strong skills in incident reporting, documentation, and basic computer use (email, word processing, and security reporting tools).
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and coach security officers, including providing clear instructions and constructive feedback.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, officers, and the public in a professional manner.
  • Sound judgment and situational awareness, with the ability to de-escalate conflicts and respond calmly in emergencies.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, including working nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant security or supervisory certifications are a plus.
  • Must have Valid Driver's license
  • Must have Valid Florida Class D Security License
