Case Submitter

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and compile documents, legal applications, according to the submission requirements.
  • Ensure all cases that are ready for filing are submitted within a timely fashion  to minimize wait times
  • Keep accurate records of submitted documents and maintain an organized filing system for easy retrieval and reference
  • Support the Legal Operations Coordinator or Case Flow Coordinator to process any priority or emergency cases to meet deadlines.
  • Supports team members with discrepancies or missing information on final case before submission
  • Ensure proper delivery of cases on a daily basis.
  • Track and record all errors and discrepancies to supervisors and managers. 
  • Update corresponding spreadsheets related to case submissions and firm platforms.
  • Verify that all filing fees are paid or fee waivers are included prior to the submission process and the correct check amount is sent to USCIS.
  • Verify clients’ passport photos meet USCIS requirements.
  • Other duties may be assigned


Requirements and skills

  • Minimum 1 year in Legal Office Setting 
  • Superior organization skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management skills to ensure any deadlines to be met
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all the firm and clients’ documentation and information 
  • Must be very well organized and work attached to a clear system of spreadsheets, calendars and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Ability to identify and suggest process improvement to ensure efficiency.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Adobe, and Microsoft Office.
