System Analyst

This is a hybrid role; 3 days in office (Schaumburg), 2 days remote.

System Analyst

n conjunction with the head of Center of Excellence in North America, the System Analyst will assist in creating, implementing, and maintaining systemic analytics across all two lines of business as well as assist with creating new system requirements, testing and implementation.

What you’ll do:

• Training and troubleshoot all users on how to appropriately utilize their computer systems. 
• Proficient in knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software while able to implement systemic improvements. 
• Create and implement instruction manuals and standard operating procedures for systems.  
• Consulting with managers to determine what role the systems play in the business and how to utilize them.  
• Troubleshoot and test the systems on a regular basis to ensure quality and function. 
• Analyzing, preparing, and consulting costs and benefits analysis on systems in place. 
• Develops solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions. 
• Working collaboratively with other aspects and areas of the business to brainstorm and presenting new ways to add more functionality to systems. 
• Assist in configuring the hardware and software of all present and future systems. 
• Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed. 
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of internal applications to provide the development team the necessary information to rectify system related issues/concerns. 
• Other duties as assigned.
  

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering. 

• Experience in IT or database administration a plus. 
• Experience with SQL, Postgres, or equivalent database tools a plus 
• Experience with Agile software development using JIRA. 
• Proficient in installing, configuring and troubleshooting technological platforms and systems. 
• Proficient in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. 
• Highly motivated self-start with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 
• Team player with a willingness to pitch in on a variety of projects and deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail. 
• Ability to generate and communicate complex ideas into clear, effective, and compelling data reporting and presentations. 
• Ability to collaborate across stakeholders. 
• Interest in developing rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support proposals. 
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills.
