Job Description

We are seeking a Access Control Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will configure, install, and maintain video surveillance and access control systems as well as be exposed to and cross-trained in telecommunications.

Responsibilities:

-Maintain customer rapport by listening to, and resolving concerns

-Install and maintain Access Control, Video Surveillance and Alarm networks

-Provide training and support to end users

-Install and maintain cabling (Cat-3, Cat-5e, Cat-6, Coax ,Fiber Optic, etc.)

-Troubleshoot and repair wide variety of low voltage wiring irregularities

-Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions

-Order and maintain inventory stock supplies

-Travel to multiple locations on any given day


Qualifications:

-Must have valid Driver's License

-Must be willing to drive company vehicle several hours a day (when required)

-Previous experience in telecommunications, alarm circuitry, or other related fields

-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

-Strong attention to detail

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to keep accurate records and documentation
