Job description

--Position: Access Control Technician
--Location: Charlotte, NC
--Company: Access Control Company
--Responsibilities: The Access Control Technician will perform installs of low voltage systems in commercial buildings. This person will work on access control hardware, and software if necessary, to set up and maintain these electronic systems. More experienced candidates will work with complex, IP based, low-voltage systems installations and service. This is an exciting opportunity with a great company!
--REQUIREMENTS
--5+ years as Low Voltage Technician
--Experience with running cables and conduit
--Access point installation, control and IP video hardware and software installation experience is required
--Lenel, Software House, Identicard, Vanderbilt, Exacq, Milestone, Axis, American Dynamics, certifications are preferred
--Proficiency in network architecture and protocols, database management, and fiber optics
--Some weekday travel will be required
