Overview

We are partnering with a well-established provider of commercial security, access control, and life safety solutions to hire an Access Control Service Technician. This company supports customers across healthcare, education, commercial, and other mission-critical environments with integrated security and communications systems.


This is a field-based service role focused on troubleshooting, servicing, programming, and supporting commercial access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments.


What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot and service commercial access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems
  • Provide onsite and remote support to customers
  • Diagnose issues and complete repairs in the field
  • Assist with system upgrades, programming, and alarm takeovers
  • Train customers and end users on system functionality
  • Support installation teams when needed
  • Maintain service documentation and communicate updates to internal teams
  • Manage inventory and tools within company vehicle
  • Stay current on evolving technologies and security platforms


What They’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience with commercial security systems
  • Strong experience with access control, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems
  • Experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting integrated systems
  • Ability to read architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings
  • Understanding of electrical, security, and life safety codes
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and communicating directly with customers

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background requirements
  • Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in varying environments
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
