Job Description

Lakeshore Talent is currently seeking a Telephone Operator for one of their clients, a large healthcare company based in Lone Tree, CO. This is an in-office, 6-8 week contract position that pays $19.50 per hour.

Proof of Flu vaccinations, background check, and drug screen (excluding THC) required upon hire.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls and connect callers with the correct extension
  • Take and relay messages in an accurate and timely manner
  • Respond to emergency and urgent calls from patients in a timely manner; direct callers immediately to clinical staff as necessary
  • Provide a pleasant and helpful phone call for callers
  • Responsible for opening and closing the switchboard
  • Responsible for the in-house paging system
  • Perform clerical duties as assigned to maintain department workflow

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred 
  • 2+ years of call center experience required, preferably in a medical setting
  • Prior office experience preferred, preferably in a medical setting
  • Excellent customer service
