Our client, an early-stage, fast-growing e-commerce brand headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a dynamic Sr. Director of Operations to collaborate closely with the CEO in shaping the company’s future. As the integrator for the business, the Sr. Director of Operations will work across the entire enterprise, overseeing the development and implementation of operational infrastructure, including policies, systems, processes, and staff development. Your focus will be on improving overall operations and effectiveness to drive sustainable growth and success.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with business objectives.

Oversee the development and execution of operational infrastructure, including policies, systems, and processes.

Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Foster engagement, team building, and consensus across the organization through regular meetings, collaboration, and other professionally sound methods.

Develop hiring strategies to attract top talent and build a skilled and motivated workforce to support the organization's growth vision.

Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings across the organization.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and drive data-driven decision-making.

Develop and implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline the customer experience.

Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of broad-based operational leadership experience in high growth startup environments

Prior experience in a direct-to-consumer Ecommerce business is highly preferred.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing operational strategies to drive business growth.

Excellent strategic planning, resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skilled in leveraging analytics to drive informed decision-making.

Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to work autonomously in a highly iterative environment.

Excellent communication skills; proven written and oral presentation and negotiation skills.
