Essential Functions:

  • Analyze monthly financial results against forecast, budget, and prior year, and work with accounting and Operating Companies to understand variance drivers and how they impact results
  • Partner with cross functional teams to support customer profitability initiatives utilizing the cost-to-serve model and train new users as the model is rolled out to the organization
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations for management, BOD, and banking needs monthly
  • Develop and maintain standardized financial reports across the company
  • Monthly reconciliation of financials between consolidation/planning system (Planful) and cost-to-serve model (Anaplan) for each operating company
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in FP&A to continuously improve processes and procedures.

Competencies, Education, and Experience:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are essential for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail is critical for ensuring accuracy in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ethical Standards: Upholding high ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality with sensitive financial information is paramount.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific industry or sector in which the company operates can be beneficial for understanding market dynamics and business drivers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required. A master's degree or professional certifications (CPA, CMA) are preferred but not required.
  • Experience:

Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:00am – 5:00pm

Physical Demands:

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Travel by auto or by flying commercial or privately as required.
