Senior Accountant

Trellis, a nonprofit in Arden Hills, MN, is looking to hire a full-time Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our organization's financial integrity and transparency of our organization. You will be responsible for performing the various cycles of accounting and general ledger and contributing to department process improvements. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

• Prepares and submits biweekly payroll.
• Provides accounting support for the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Aligns operating budgets to reporting requirements in collaboration with Budget Leaders and the VP of Finance.
• Provides financial accounting oversight for Title III provider partner funds, including contract, invoice, and carryover fund reconciliation.
• Prepares special reports and assists in projects as requested by the VP of Finance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, will consider work experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum fours years of related experience in accounting and accounting systems
• Grant administration, fund accounting, and budgeting experience preferred
• Experience working withing a not-for-profit a plus

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is a hybrid, working two to three days in the office and remotely for the remainder of the week. Our business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
