Vice President of Civil Engineering/Land Surveying

Midwest engineering firm with over 50 years in the business is seeking a Vice President for their Civil Engineering/Land Surveying Department in their St. Louis office!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall success of the civil engineer/land surveying departments including productivity, quality, growth, and profitability
  
• Manage/lead hiring, training, mentoring, and staff development
  
• Manage project teams/departments toward completing site development projects on time and under budget
  
• Assist with business development through generating new leads
  
• Build/maintain existing client relationships
  
• Meet/exceed client expectations
  

Requirements:

• 8+ years of project and/or department leadership experience
  
• Professional license (PE or Professional Land Surveyor) preferred
  
• Experience managing/leading team members
  
• Business development experience including creating proposals with scopes/timelines
  
• Proficient in forecasting and trend analysis
  
• Strong planning/time management skills
  
• Strong negotiating skills
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
