Amtrak is conducting a national search for the next Vice President, Corporate Security and Chief of Police to lead the Amtrak Police Department and enterprise security operations. Amtrak seeks an accomplished, forward-looking public safety executive with a record of success leading complex law enforcement, transportation security, federal, municipal, or similarly high-visibility public safety organizations. The ideal candidate will bring the executive presence, strategic judgment, operational credibility, and relationship building skills necessary to lead a nationally known police and corporate security enterprise. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, at least 20 years of law enforcement experience, eligibility for a police commission, and expertise in policing and security.

The salary range is $319,800-$340,400, plus incentive opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
