What We Are Looking For:

The Full Stack Software Engineer’s role is to build new features and maintain our digital platform. To ensure success in this role, candidates should have advanced programming skills, experience with end-to-end web application development, system architecture & troubleshooting, excellent interpersonal skills, and be a great team player. This role reports to the Lead Engineer and is required to be onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.

What You Will Do:

· Implement scalable REST APIs and application UIs.

· Troubleshooting and bug fixing.

· Identifying bottlenecks and improving software efficiency.

· Contribute to system architecture and infrastructure as code using Terraform.

· Documentation for internal and external clients.

What We Require:

· 2-6 years of experience as a full-stack experience

· Proficient in back-end languages such as Node.js

· Well-versed in front-end frameworks, preferably ReactJS

· Deep understanding of relational database systems

· Strong familiarity with popular JavaScript libraries and frameworks

· Familiarity with deploying infrastructure as code using Terraform

· Strong bias toward action and ownership

· Exceptional communication skills.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.

· Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred.

· Writing well-documented REST APIs preferred.

· Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, writing efficient algorithms, unit tests, and modeling data as graphs preferred.
