We are after a strategic thinker and strong communicator to fill the role of Account Manager for our Amazon Services Agency. You would be joining an agency focused on providing the highest quality of service for our clients, while simultaneously driving results for them. We have intentionally chosen to not “grow at all costs” and instead focus on sustainable growth, which allows us to serve our clients and team well. When joining the team, you would be the second in command to the Chief Idea Officer and owner of the company. You would be responsible for managing the operations across our clients. We run on EOS and utilize Agile project management methodology to maximize efficiency. Quality over quantity always wins for us but there will be times where quantity is needed.

You are the driver and a builder. Being able to troubleshoot problems, communicate clearly with everyone, resolve conflicts, and lead with humility are all a critical part of this role. As a bootstrapped agency, we don’t have the same resources that larger agencies do so we have to be resourceful. Being scrappy, proactive, and vocal gets you further.

You would be managing a lean team of Catalog, Creative, and Advertising Specialists that would report directly into you. Your areas of focus are Client Relationships and Client Performance. All the work you do revolves around building trust through transparent communication and driving results in line with goals for Clients. You create the strategy and then make sure it’s executed by us. You have to be hungry to grow, open to feedback, and invested in the long term success of the company. You aren’t taking on work outside of this that would distract you. As a good fit here, you enjoy getting into the work, exceeding what is minimally required, and getting the best out of your team tactfully. You enjoy a good laugh and understand the role a good sense of humor plays in relationship building. You will have opportunities to grow within the company when positions become available, if you express interest. After 12 months of service, you would be eligible for profit sharing.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)

  • Set goals and targets for Amazon across brands you manage

  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies in accordance with Client goals

  • Execute with autonomy while communicating for visibility

  • Track performance across multiple KPIs like MRR, ARR, Profit, Sessions, Conv. Rate, Search Ranking, BSR, Impressions, Click, CTR, RoAS, ACoS, Budget Pacing, etc.

  • Make adjustments and provide directives to team to stay on track

  • Manage projects, assign tasks, and track progress daily with PM software ClickUp

  • Fast and clear daily communication with clients & team members via slack, email, and calls

  • Lead meetings with clients

  • Lead internal meetings with team

  • Provide coaching to the team on improvement

  • Create processes and document them

  • Read reporting and create reports for brands and team members

  • Open to learning new skills and utilizing tools like Ad Tech, Keyword Tracking, Analytics, GenAI, etc.

  • Triage and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner, communicating throughout

  • Managing Client from Onboarding to End of Contract

  • Fill in for team members when necessary on tasks

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years experience actively managing businesses on Amazon Seller/Vendor Central

  • 1+ years experience managing a team of people

  • Top notch communication skills, clear and concise

  • Deep knowledge of the Amazon Advertising Platform, including campaign setup and optimization. DSP knowledge a plus. AMC knowledge a blessing.

  • Don’t need to be a whiz but need to be capable of operating easily in either Microsoft Office or Google Workspace docs, sheets, and presentations

  • Able to analyze and measure KPIs to create plans to close the gaps based on data

AVAILABILITY

  • 40-50 hours/wk

  • M-F is the norm, weekends occasionally with urgent issues (not everything is urgent )

  • Able to respond to clients and team quickly, no more than 24 hours M-F

 

REMOTE WORK

High-speed internet is required. We love having the ability to work within our own desired environments and on our time to provide flexibility and accommodate busy lives and families. You will be required to attend and adjust your schedule around client and team meetings. Give and take.

 

COMPENSATION

Salary range for this position is $35,000-$55,000 USD/year. Benefits not currently provided but could be considered. No limit on PTO, as long as work obligations are met.
