Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant / Clinical Coordinator to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly as well assisting the doctor in office-based procedures. phlebotomy, female and bilingual required.

Responsibilities:

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
Assisting with medical procedures
Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
Communicate with hospitals and medical staff offices
Escort patients to exam rooms
Answer phones and coordinate patient surgeries

Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare administration, medical assisting or other related fields
Phlebotomy skills
Familiarity with medical billing procedures
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
Needs to be Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Will need to provide references who can attest to previous medical assistant experience
