Accounting Assistant

ART is currently looking for a full-time Accounting Assistant. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will be based in Miami (Doral), Florida.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Enter and process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions on a daily basis;
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned;
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed;
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports;
• Assist junior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings;
• Assist with other accounting projects; and
• Other duties as assigned.

NICE TO HAVES, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Experience using Quantum Controls Software or QAV; and
• Experience in the aviation industry. 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Accounting or a related professional field;
• 2 years' experience in Accounting or a related professional field;
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company work product and related policies and procedures;
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel use is required);
• Be able to work regular business hours (8 AM to 5 PM);
• Able to communicate orally and in writing in a professional manner;
• Strong business ethics; and
  
• Be 18 years or older and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
