As a Program Specialist you will be responsible for driving organic growth within existing programs in the Transportation division. This role is also responsible for coordinating with internal and external team members to ensure client needs are met with TrueNorth business capabilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor monthly participation reports
- Identify carriers with greater shrinkage than ‘normal’
- Build proactive plan with client to gain traction (client growth)
- Assist Producer and Program Specialist with annual Open Enrollment meeting
- In absence of Producer, Enrollment Coordinator manages relationship with client
- Assist Program Specialist with TrueChoices stewardship
- Perform Stewardship for TC-only accounts w/ support from Program Specialist
- Coordinate/Schedule Open Enrollment calls with Client and Producer
- Point of contact for monthly new driver lists
- Work with client to ensure timely delivery each month
- Coordinate with Producer if lists are missing
- Manage Open Enrollment calendar with support from Program Specialist and TC Team Leader
- Ensure even distribution of opportunities throughout the year
- Identify one-off marketing/collateral requests from client and work with TR Sales Marketing team on deliverables
- Attend periodic MC Orientation meetings to ensure alignment with TN marketing / outreach strategies
- Attend client events / speaking opportunities to support TrueChoices growth
- Attend truck shows / other industry events to support TC growth
- Proactively seek round out opportunities for TC-only clients
- Maintain / Update TC Motor Carrier Profile w/ support from Manager of Business Process and Program Specialist
- Ensure number of opportunities matches total IC count, perform discovery/analysis when counts are off
- Support Production team in prospecting, acting as TC SME
- Assist Practice Leader with product innovation/discovery as needed
- Collaborate with TR Sales Marketing for content development
- Ensure appropriate delivery of marketing assets, instructing clients on how to use collateral, etc.
- Support TNtruck Social Media strategies, handling execution of Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- TR Sales Marketing and Practice Leader supporting
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- A four-year college degree or equivalent combination of training and work experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry is required
- Experience in transportation industry preferred
- Knowledge of insurance program management principles preferred
- Experience with financial data analysis and reporting
- Licensing required within 30 days of employment and must be maintained annually
- Must also have experience in Microsoft Office. Specifically Intermediate WORD and EXCEL skills and basic PowerPoint skills.
