BOOKKEPPER

TGG Accounting has partnered with a client in the San Diego area who is seeking to add a full-charge bookkeeper to their established accounting team. If you have no bookkeeper experience but possess an accounting educational background or have a high level of attention to detail and would like to have a career in payroll this could be the role for you!

KPI’s — Key Performance Indicators:

• A minimum of 34 billable hours per week (1700 per year.)
• A minimum of 40 hours worked per week
• Client Retention of greater than 85%
• Individual GP of 45% or better
• Timesheets are entered daily
• On-time attendance at all mandatory company meetings
• 15Five review and submission completed weekly

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable process by coding invoices, submitting for proper approval, and processing for payment.
• Manage and maintain timely and accurate cash account records at all times. Includes posting of cash receipts, monthly bank reconciliations, and forecasting future cash needs as necessary to ensure entities are adequately funded to meet obligations.
• Prepare internal invoices and manage collections.
• Process and review all transactions for assigned accounts daily.
• Gather annual tax return information for each client.
• Be familiar with and be responsible for adherence to all compliance policies and procedures.
• Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.
  
  

Qualifications:

1. 0-2 years of experience as a bookkeeper, audio, AP/AR, or anything related to accounting or finance

2. Associates degree in accounting, BA or BSc

COMPENSATION RANGE: $40,000 - $60,000 (includes benefits)
