The Parts Room Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Lifeway’s parts inventory, communicating with managers to determine need for parts, and working with suppliers to maintain an adequate supply. The Parts Room Coordinator ensures appropriate inventory is stocked, managed, and maintained.  

The candidate that we are looking for will need to be able to setup and organize multiple parts rooms, setup and implement an inventory scanning system and then maintain the parts rooms and inventory after that. This candidate should be self-motivated, highly organized, and preferably have a stable past work history in inventory management or parts room setups.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize parts room, set up bin location, set up sign out procedures
• Maintain necessary inventory level of parts for the plant
• Work with managers to determine needed parts
• Perform cycle counts on inventory
• Ensure bin locations are labeled and organized
• Help maintenance technicians find needed parts
• Check in parts upon receipt and store in an organized manner until parts are needed
• Ability to learn and understand a variety of part descriptions, part numbers, and part usage
• Inspect all parts for damage, quality, and accuracy
• Return and re-order any damaged or incorrect parts
• Maintain parts rooms, keep them clean and orderly
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Perform duties according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Sanitization Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) that meet quality and safety standards pertaining to: Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Wisconsin Department of Agriculture (WDA), and customer requirements
• Report to workstation on time; Wear proper work attire; Assist in setting up work area
• Conduct behavior in compliance with Lifeway Employee Policy
• Perform additional duties as assigned
