Job description

Summary/Objective 
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Parts Order Picker to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing parts orders, including cutting industrial hose to specification using a chop saw and other power tools. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Pick, pull, and prepare parts orders according to pick tickets and work orders.

  1. Cut industrial hose to precise lengths using a chop saw or other approved cutting equipment.

  1. Assemble kits and component bundles when required (hoses, fittings, small hardware, etc.).

  1. Verify order-level accuracy prior to packaging.

  1. Inspect parts for quality, damage, or defects before order fulfillment.

  1. Maintain clean, organized picking areas, hose-cutting stations, and tool zones.

  1. Perform stocking-level support.

  1. Use warehouse or inventory systems to track orders and materials.

  1. Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.

  1. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

  1. Required to make pick-ups and deliveries to our suppliers for parts and raw materials using a company van.

  1. Upholds all company Safety and Personnel Policies.
