Job description

Compensation:  Competitive hourly wage. Overtime after 40 hours.   Position Details:  Full-time, On-site in Wamego, KS, Monday to Friday 8 am-5pm.

Job Summary:

The Parts Procurement Specialist II will assist in managing the company's procurement of products, materials, and/or services while working with team members to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.

Essential Functions:

  • Purchase supply of products/materials for multiple store locations
  • Determine the best price for products/materials
  • Track and record orders
  • Manage and Analyze supply base
  • Analyze market and delivery systems
  • Prepare requisitions and purchase orders
  • Monitor order expenses
  • Communicate performance and costs to management
  • Organize and schedule procurements in a timely manner
  • Operate equipment and follow all safety procedures
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals
  • Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies
  • Receive orders and document arrivals

Required Competencies:

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Teams.
  • Knowledge of  compiling and following strict budgets.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25-30 pounds.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed. 
  • Complete manufacturer training as assigned by the Parts Program Manager.
