North Central Utility (NCU) is looking to add a Refrigeration Parts Coordinator to our team. This role offers the flexibility to work from any of our locations in WI or ND: DeForest, Pewaukee, Wisconsin Rapids, Wausau, Kaukauna, Eau Claire, Green Bay, or Fargo.


North Central Utility is one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in the nation and the largest in the North Central region with 10 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota. We offer reefer, dry van and flatbed trailers from Utility Trailer Manufacturing and Cargo Bull refrigeration units at all locations. Our parts department has an extensive inventory in Heavy-Duty Trailer, Truck/Tractor, and refrigeration parts. Our broad product line and geographic coverage ensures we are a “One Stop Shop” for truck and semi-trailer parts. Our service department offers everything from routine maintenance, certified DOT inspections to refrigeration service and complete wreck repair. No job is too big or too small for our skilled service technicians.


This position is a safety-sensitive position, requiring pre-employment and post-accident drug testing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Focus on our refrigeration parts program

  • Assuring that we have adequate and correct refrigeration parts on hand
  • Assisting with refrigeration parts procurement
  • Assisting with refrigeration parts estimates and quotes
  • Reviewing and resolving refrigeration part deficiencies
  • Reviewing refrigeration on order status and working with suppliers to expedite our refrigeration part orders
  • Assist in refrigeration parts and system training to other Parts Employees and Customers

• Represent NCU to all walk-in store customers

• Educate the retail customer on NCU parts and services, especially refrigeration

• Answer phone as needed

• Order processing

• Assist with parts stocking and store organization

• Increase sales volume through promotional sales & activity

• Suggest items of value to build customer loyalty and identify opportunities for incremental sales volume as needed

• Order parts and fill back orders

• Work with management to eliminate excess inventory and increase turns

• Accurate and timely processing and completion of paperwork

• Build relationships with customers

• Assist back counter parts sales reps

• Sell product features

• Assist with EOY Inventory

• Assist Manager as needed

• Other Tasks as Assigned



Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Driver’s License in good standing

• Previous refrigeration parts experience preferred

• Strong computer skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency

• Proficient with technology

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including, but not limited to, the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead, stoop, and squat repetitively for long periods of time

• Ability to repetitively push/pull and/or lift/carry at least 50 pounds
