We are currently seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, software applications, and related IT equipment.

Responsibilities:

Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and other IT-related issues. This includes troubleshooting problems, identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions
Monitor and manage the IT help desk ticketing system, ensuring that all support requests are properly documented, tracked, and resolved within a reasonable time
Offer guidance and training to users on software applications, hardware usage, and general IT best practices to improve their understanding and proficiency
Assist with the installation, configuration, and deployment of software applications and hardware components
Regularly perform system maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and system optimizations to ensure peak performance and security
Collaborate with network administrators to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring network connectivity and overall stability
Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data and systems from unauthorized access or cyber threats
Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles to aid both support staff and end users

Qualifications:

A Degree or diploma in Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent education and work experience.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and basic networking concepts
Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Willingness to learn and adapt to ne technologies, tools, and procedures in the ever-evolving IT landscape
Strong written and verbal communication skills
