Machine Operator – Packaging

Location: Oakland, CA

Pay Range: $20-23/hr

We are immediately interviewing for a Packaging Machine Operator to grind & package coffee for a Bay Area-based coffee chain! As a Machine Operator, you will play an important role in the production process, making sure that every batch of coffee meets high standards of quality and consistency. You'll be part of a team where collaboration and support are top priorities, offering excellent opportunities for growth within the company.

What You’ll Do

Use equipment including grinding machines, label printers, heat sealing machines, pallet jacks, Velteko, and Matrix to efficiently package coffee.
Clean & shut down packaging machinery for shift changeovers.
Enter work order codes and confirm the correct materials are on production lines.
Troubleshoot issues with machines and report maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Use forklifts to move equipment and supplies.
Follow OSHA, Food Safety, and general Safety processes and regulations.

What You’ll Bring

1+ years working in a warehouse environment
Experience working in a food packaging role a huge plus
Great attention to detail, efficiency, and team player attitude
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move pallets using jacks
ServSafe Food Handler & Forklift Certification a plus
