Job Specifications
Position Requirements: Ability to perform all duties. Prompt, accurate, dependable.
Mondays and Thursdays from 5am-11am
Job Description
· Reception/Payment
· Greet patients, collect payment due, alert patients to any flags in computer, and give electronic dose receipt
· Maintain "bank" at $200.00
· Prepare daily Patient Payment Summary-Must balance daily
· Prepare daily bank deposit and deliver it to the bank for a deposit receipt
· Maintain record of payments and deposits
· Send daily, weekly, & monthly reports as directed to Administration Office
· Post payments manually and maintain record of payments
· Alert patients to balances due
· Charge patients for any additional services
· Admission
· Obtain photocopy of valid Georgia identification (Driver’s License or GA ID card) Assign chart number
· Take digital photo of patient for chart and Methasoft records
· Obtain initial intake documents from patient
· Prepare New Patient Chart for Intake
· Enter patient information into computer
· Collect intake fee
· Submit request for CID number on all new/transfer patients
· No patient may receive medication until CID is clear
· Maintain stock of new charts/documents ready for intake Maintain stock of new patient information packets
· Administration
· File all patient notes, urine results, and other chart documents as needed Maintain Financial Contracts and current UDS on all Reduced Rate Patients Order supplies via Administration Office
· Maintain and Report Petty Cash use
· Upon final audit of Discharge Charts, disassemble and file in appropriate area
· Thin Charts in accordance with TCA Policy & Procedure
· Maintain order of chart room
· Maintain confidentiality of chart room
· Shred confidential documents
· Attend all Treatment Team and Staff Meetings
· General Office Duties
· Answer phones, take messages, route calls
· Retrieve messages from Voicemail each morning and distribute appropriately Assist staff as necessary
· Empty all trash in business center
· Vacuum all office and dosing areas daily for clean appearance
· Straighten all seating areas - lobby and dosing area
· Job description is not limited to above duties
