Job Description

Director of Engineering - This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your career as the Director of Engineering for this OEM with a global client base.

Responsibilities will include:

Leading the engineering group to maximize effectiveness
Mentor and Develop the engineering group to maximize morale and productivity
Ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace
Product Development - research and design
Administrative functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and document control
Work with clients and sales to review specifications and proposals
Provide engineering support organizationally

Desired skills and experience:

10+ years of supervisory experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment
Leadership and coaching skills to get the best of people and teams
Advanced Engineering degree, an MBA is a plus
Knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, electric motors, and steam turbines
Experience with engineering design, plans, and specifications
Knowledge of ISO and Military quality assurance systems
Strong presentation and communication skills
Comfort in a manufacturing environment as well as in front of a client
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and MS Office suite
