Receptionist/Pre-Registration - Evenings

Located in Wichita, KS, Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital (KSSH) is a regional center for the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the spine, neck and joint. Dedicated to improving the quality of life of our patients, Kansas Spine practices a team approach, providing patients with access to a specialized team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, neuroradiologists, internal medicine physicians and nurses.

Acts as front lobby receptionist. Greets and welcomes all visitors to the Hospital. Ensures excellent patient service for patients and families, physicians and staff, and visitors. Acts as pre-registration clerk and provides pre-registration functions at front desk.

1. Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
2. Answer phone calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or individual
3. Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
4. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorization for appointments and procedures
5. Collect and accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical records system
6. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records
7. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication
8. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
9. Handle patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Medical registration experience required.

Full-Time, M-F 1:30-8:00pm (30 hours week)
