System Administrator / Help Desk Support Administrator *Onsite*

This position is 100% onsite in Saint Charles, IL.

The IT System Administrator will support IT systems from a hardware, networking and operating systems level.

Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

Computer and Other Technical Support

• Install, design, and configure operation system components in our Microsoft network
• Provide assistance with computer network interfaces, installation, and maintenance of computer and software systems, and maintain computer system security.
• Work to troubleshoot, repair and maintain computers and digital equipment.
• Work with the ticket system to prioritize and document ticket resolutions
• Manage firewall rules and support virus protection systems
• Responsible for server and workstation backup/restore and execution of disaster recovery scenarios
• Manage inventory of computer hardware, software and licenses
• Maintain phone system configuration and equipment
• Document maintenance per regulatory guidance

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

• Computer and computer networking skills
• Ability to maintain and support company equipment (computer, printing, mechanical, electrical, construction, architecture)
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications

The following experience is required:

Two years of experience in any of the areas:

• Hardware support and maintenance
• Software and operating system support and maintenance
• Software application deployment
• Enterprise systems support and maintenance
• Computer networking support experience

OR technical/bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
