Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Used Car Director at Greenville Automotive Group. This is a full-time individual contributor role responsible for both our Chevrolet & Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram locations located on Interstate Drive in Greenville, Alabama.  The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition, reconditioning, managing, and operations of our used car department and ensuring profitable growth for the two dealerships. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and a proven track record of success in sales.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategies to increase used car sales and profitability.
- Oversee the daily operations of the used car department, including managing inventory, pricing, and negotiation.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed their targets.
- Create and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall dealership goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities.
- Monitor and analyze sales reports to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain a positive and professional working environment for the team.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends, pricing, and market conditions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
