The Office and Events Manager is the heartbeat of the office and is responsible for orchestrating daily administrative activities, optimizing office resources, and elevating our staff's experience. You are the linchpin that connects various departments and creates a harmonious and productive workplace environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversee the daily administrative tasks with a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring our office runs like a well-oiled machine.
  • Welcome Elmington visitors, guests, and clients with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain the condition of conference rooms, communal areas, offices, and workstations to provide an inviting and efficient workspace.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and maintenance requirements, ensuring our resources are readily available and in optimal condition.
  • Cultivate relationships with vendors, securing cost-effective solutions for office supplies, equipment, and services, all while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Oversee the office café, handling supply orders and proactively replenishing kitchen supplies and refreshments.
  • Facilitate internal communication channels, ensuring information flows seamlessly within the office, fostering a transparent and connected work environment.
  • Plan and coordinate office events, meetings, conferences, and workshops, ensuring every detail is meticulously attended to.
  • Manage event logistics, including catering and other related activities, making each event a seamless and memorable experience. This includes in-office events, as well as offsite retreats and summits.
  • Extend your support to colleagues planning events, and offer your expertise and guidance.
  • Skillfully manage event communication, from preparing guest lists and initiations to confirming attendance and tracking RSVPs.
  • Assist in estimating budgets for events and office operations, ensuring our financial resources are managed wisely.
  • Be ready to lend a hand in any other duties as assigned, showcasing your adaptability and commitment to our organization.

SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma
  • 1-3 years of office management experience in a 10,000 sq. ft. office
  • 1-3 years of events coordination experience
