Education Coordinator/Professional Development Coordinator

From in-depth training and development programs to micro learning, the Ewald Consulting Professional Development Department provides expertise and solutions specific to association programs that are designed for continuing education, certification, certificates and workforce development, learning and performance. The Education Coordinator serves as a key team member responsible for supporting the planning, logistics and execution of our educational offerings including, in-person, virtual, hybrid, certificate and certification programs. Roles and Responsibilities
The Professional Development Coordinator’s daily activities support the planning and execution of several of our client’s virtual and in-person programs. This includes, but is not limited to planning and hosting webinars, continuing education applications, evaluation creation, certificate generation, data reporting, on-site event preparations and learning management system support.
Client Relations
- Represents Ewald Consulting and the client organization to various client constituents – committees, members, volunteers, potential members
- Ensures that client interests are top priority in all decision-making and planning related to professional development programming
- Works directly (and often directs work) with client members and volunteers to achieve program goals
- Handles numerous client requests, concerns, questions daily
Project Management
- Works with the Professional Development Specialists to execute and support virtual, hybrid and in-person programs related to learning and development:
- Coordinate with presenters to schedule virtual programs and tech sessions
- Host virtual programs
- Support in-person program logistics including name badges, packing and shipping of event-related supplies and the preparation of onsite materials
- Create reports with important metrics for strategic decision making
- Coordinate post-program items such as collecting and compiling evaluation data, preparing certificates, processing continuing education credit
- Ensures all program-related tasks are entered, monitored and completed using our internal project management software
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in a client-service related role or industry
Excellent customer service presence and growth mindset
Strong organizational, project management and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment
General knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with a proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
Ability to seek out process issues and propose new ways of doing work
Experience with Zoom Meeting and Zoom Webinar
Desire to work in an environment with great variety on a daily basis
A team-player mentality with a focus on providing a fast array of support to the Professional Development team
Flexible, patient and calm working demeanor
Work Conditions and Environment
Travel may be required (15% or less)
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as client events require
Ability to lift and carry items for an event. Items generally weigh less than 50 lbs.
