Due to extreme growth within our Business Development department, we are currently seeking a Healthcare Business Development Manager to join our Kid SPOT Family. Because our Business Development team is expanding, this will allow you to grow and work in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment. Healthcare Business Development Manager Schedule: Monday - Friday Full-time 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Healthcare Business Development Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or marketing is required.
  • 2-5 Years of Management experience
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong, long-lasting partnerships.
  • Highly professional and persuasive presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability
  • Ability to effectively negotiate

Duties and Descriptions for the Healthcare Business Development Manager:

  • Within a defined geographic territory, facilitate relationships with PCP Practice physicians and staff by direct communication to generate new referrals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to recruit and retain referral partners in the healthcare and educational sectors.
  • Establish strong relationships with potential and existing referral sources, including pediatricians, psychologists, schools, and community centers.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities for expansion, and competitive threats.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives, focusing on increasing market share and maximizing revenue.
  • Network actively to build and nurture strategic partnerships that lead to business opportunities.
  • Organize and participate in community and professional events to promote awareness of our services and establish our presence as a leading ABA, speech, and occupational physical therapy service provider.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in both existing and new markets.
  • Prepared and presented business proposals and presentations to prospective clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create materials and campaigns that support partnership development and client engagement.
  • Provide regular reports on partnership activities, outcomes, and ROI assessments to Director of Business Development.
  • Use appropriate sales skills to identify a need (prospecting), offer appropriate solutions (marketing), overcome objections (qualification), seek closure to the sale (closure), and provide effective follow-up to the referral sources (communication).
  • Use the sales tracker database weekly to maintain timely and accurate client account management records of sales calls (call reports).
  • Produce quarterly territory assessments that provide an overview of their market dynamic of referral sources, new physicians, splitters, practice mergers, strategic opportunities and sales solutions presented.
  • Business Development (80%): Prospecting, Marketing, Communication- Customer Service (Face to Face and Phone), and Qualification/Closing (Face to Face and Phone); Sales Management time and territory business, correspondence, new business proposals, and routine follow-up; and Sales Process: Daily Client Account Management, Weekly tracking/recording of sales calls, and Communication Maintenance.
  • Administrative Duties (20%): Attend all meetings, manage relationships with leadership, and liaison between them and Business Development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
