LabAnswer performs significant laboratory automation work in pharmaceuticals, bio-pharmaceuticals, medical devices, forensics, and life sciences research laboratories spanning research, development and manufacturing/QC operations.

Most of the LabAnswer positions will require 50% travel and the ability to work from a home office.   Our consultants are able to live anywhere in the USA.

Job Description

The LabWare Architect will assist in the development of a LabWare LIMS system. The position will gather user requirements, create and maintain procedures, and assist in the configuration/customization of the system.This position requires flexibility with changing priorities.


Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Gather user requirements
  • Support LabWare LIMS
  • Configure and customize LabWare LIMS
  • Integrate instruments with LabWare LIMS
  • Performs entry and edit of all relevant static data
  • Acts as liaison between internal laboratory users and vendor to address various system issues and user requirements
  • Conducts user-training sessions for users
  • Evaluates product enhancements and capabilities, in addition to implementing upgrades as required
Qualifications

A qualified candidate will possess:

  • Exposure to Lab environment ( testing, instruments, LIMS, LIS, CDS, clinical, healthcare, etc)
  • Good technical and business analysis skill set
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated working understanding of laboratory operations and practices strong organizational and/or project management skills
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects for different business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • 2-3 Years experience configuring and supporting LabWare LIMS
  • Travel required (50% +)

Education:

Bachelor Degree in chemistry or related discipline
