Office Manager Job Description
We are actively seeking an amazing, inspired, curious, super-organized Office Manager to provide critical back and front office support to one of greater Boston's best residential painting companies. As our Office Manager, you will join a pleasant, collaborative and supportive work atmosphere and help us ensure a high degree of customer and employee service, productivity, and communication. You will report exclusively to the owner.

Office Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain all systems relevant to employee, customer and vendor support and engagement;
- Work with QuickBooksOnline(QBO) Project to ensure accurate project scheduling, delivery and support
- Work with QBO Time to ensure all employees are properly tracking hours
- Work with our remote bookkeepers to ensure timely AR and AP
- Provide warm, engaged, and solution-focused communciation with our clients
- Manage HR - new hire processing; drug testing, background checks, I-9 compliance, 401K, health and dental insurance enrolment
- Maintain office - coordination with IT support, commercial cleaners, landlord, city of Newton
Office Manager Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of work experience in an administrative/office management role
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
